ICE is Back
November 6, 2009
After a years break the Hawke’s Bay Fruitgrowers’ Association Horticultural ICE Expo is back.
New Zealand’s premiere Horticultural Trade Show will be held on the 17th of June 2010 at the HB A & P Showground’s and there is already a stellar line-up of associated events that will be hosted by ICE.
ICE is renown for it’s ability to draw all of horticulture together and in the past has had around 80 exhibitors showing off their innovations and showcasing their products.
This year ICE has also launched its own website www.iceexpo.org.nz. This will be a one-stop shop for those wanting to find out more about ICE and it is a great platform from which to launch the 2010 event.
We have just begun planning for 2010 and HBFA are already fielding calls from people wanting to become involved.
‘It’s an exciting time for us’ say HBFA President Leon Stallard. ‘We heard the industry last year telling us that the financial climate wasn’t good for them, so we held off holding ICE. This year they are saying Bring It On.’
Associated Events: HB Young Fruitgrower of the Year, HortNZ Art Award, ICE Innovation Award, HBFA Tug 0f War, Workshops.
The event will be managed by Lesley Wilson of ‘talk’
