Back in 2006 the Hawke’s Bay Fruitgrowers’ Association saw the need for an event that brought all of Horticulture together.

President, Leon Stallard, said he would like something like the Mystery Creek Fieldays; but without the mystery.  The Association wanted to get Horticulture out into the community, it wanted to celebrate what Horticulturists do and it wanted to get young people involved. ICE was formed.

ICE has quickly become part of the Horticultural calendar.

Support from industry is phenomenal and the event is growing is stature and structure year on year.

ICE is a trade show, it’s an education hub, it’s a place where people can meet, it’s a launching spot for new innovations and importantly it’s a celebration of what we do.
